Clips look worse on Instagram or WhatsApp
Social apps recompress on upload. Slicer Stories saves the clips at the original quality; uploading the saved clip from Photos gives you the best possible start.
Why is a clip a fraction of a second shorter than I chose?
To keep full quality we cut on the video’s keyframes, so a cut may land slightly earlier, but no clip ever goes over the length you choose.
What lengths can I use?
Instagram (60 s), WhatsApp (90 s), 30 s, 15 s or any length from 1 second. You can also split into equal parts to avoid a very short last clip.
How do I restore my purchase?
It restores automatically when you open the app with the same Apple account. If not, go to Settings → Restore purchases.
The video is in iCloud
The app downloads it first, showing progress, before cutting it. You need a connection and free space.
I can’t see the clips in Photos
Check that you allowed adding to Photos in iPhone Settings → Slicer Stories → Photos. Clips appear next to the original video’s date, in order.
